Looking for a quick home project idea? Check out this tutorial from Hobby Lobby, they created a DIY pillow cover with lather and fabric glue. We were inspired to make our own for the new season. In our example, we used multiple 8.5" x 11" Leather Trim Pieces to create the shapes and then painted them using the Realeather Leather Paints to get the color and depth we were looking for.
For the smaller details on the flowers, we added some of the suede lace for stems (Fresh Green and Pacific Green) and braid accents (Rust). For an easy project, you can use leather fabric glue to adhere to the leather to the cover. Or try using some of our colored wax thread to easily create an added detail by sewing on the leather pieces. In our design, we used the Fiebings Leather Cement to ensure a strong hold.
